Material Record Tpl

Location on ribbon: Tab DVD Cons → Group QAQC and Diary → Menu Templates

Command ID: btnMaterialRecordTpl

What it does

Opens FormNTVL.xlsx, the incoming-material acceptance record template shipped with DVDAddin. The form already contains the delivery details block, certificate (CO/CQ) references, inspection results and the signature block for all parties.

Use it every time material arrives on site and has to be accepted before use: cement, rebar, blocks, aggregate, ready-mix concrete, finishing materials.

How to use

  1. Click TemplatesMaterial Record Tpl in the QAQC and Diary group.
  2. The add-in looks for Template\FormNTVL.xlsx in the add-in install folder (C:\DVDAddin\Template\), then in a Template\ folder next to the active workbook.
  3. The template opens in Excel.
  4. Fill in the material name, specification, delivered quantity, supplier, certificate numbers and the on-site inspection result.
  5. Save As with a record-specific name so the shipped template stays untouched.

Example

A delivery of Ø18 CB400-V rebar arrives on 12 March: click Material Record Tpl, enter the supplier, the CO/CQ number, 12.4 tonnes delivered, the visual inspection result and the sample IDs sent for tensile and bend testing, then save it as BBNT-VL-THEP-03.xlsx to sign alongside the delivery note.

Notes

  • If the file is not found the add-in shows a warning listing the paths it searched — usually a sign the Template\ folder is missing from the installation.
  • For workbooks on OneDrive or SharePoint the add-in also checks for a Template\ folder beside the locally synced copy.
  • The file that opens is the master copy in the install folder — always Save As before editing.
  • A material acceptance record normally needs the CO/CQ and laboratory test certificates attached; the template only provides the frame.
  • Work Record Tpl — acceptance record for completed work items.
  • Test Plan — generates the required TCVN test criteria for these same materials.
  • Diary Template — the daily construction diary form.
